Meet the Cudgen Road Farms Team

Matthew found his love for farming at a young age learning from his Dad and Uncle on the family farm alongside being an avid rugby league, cricket and hockey player. His affinity with the land led him to a degree in Applied Science Horticulture with a Plant Protection Major from the University of QLD. Upon graduation he headed back to the farm in 1999 where he continues to lead the team with brother Henry today. In November 2006 he married Jane and they now have two sons together, Jett and Tex, living in Kingscliff where Matthew continues his support of the local rugby league, cricket and hockey clubs.

Henry grew up with a passion for sport, playing rugby league & cricket for Cudgen and hockey for Kingscliff. His apprenticeship as a refrigeration technician took him from the Tweed Coast across to Brisbane. In 2009 he returned home to Cudgen, back to his roots where he formed the partnership with Matthew that is Cudgen Road Farms. He enjoys a game of golf with family and friends in his days he has off. Henry married his wife Jessica in 2016 and they have two sons together Jacob and Austin.

Jane was raised on another local sweet potato farm in Cudgen, prior to joining the Cudgen Road Farms family. She holds a degree in Business Administration majoring in Human Resource Management and worked in various HR & finance roles with QLD State Government & TAFE QLD. She is now the Social Media Manager and Brand Manager of Cudgen Road Farms alongside being the Prichard Family CEO and mother of two boys. Most importantly, she enjoys a good cheese platter & won’t say no to a party.

Jessica was born and bred in Casino NSW where she went on to study business, real estate, nutrition & fitness. Following a career in property management, she went on to follow her dream of successfully managing her own personal training business. She is now Family CEO and active mother of two boys. She is an avid hockey player and leads and active and healthy lifestyle with a passion for health and wellness.

Lachie is a Cudgen local, born & raised on a neighbouring sweet potato farm where he worked alongside his Grandfather, Uncles & Mum. He is passionate about agriculture & shares a great love of our local area. He has previously worked in sugar cane harvesting on the Tweed and corn silage in the Riverina NSW before joining the team at Cudgen Road Farms in May 2020. He loves following the Cudgen Hornets rugby league club and when not at work you’ll find him camping, fishing and riding motorbikes.
